The JBOX Audio Player is an excellent tool for streaming your music or audio on websites, blogs, or MySpace pages. It looks like this, and it's free. Nerl.Net provides the back-end for you, so you'll hafta log in or sign up here, then design your custom audio player. There's nothing to download or install!

Key Features:
- You design it, then put it anywhere on the interweb. When you're ready, we provide you with a link to launch the player, then you copy/paste it wherever you want - your blog, MySpace, forums, or your own website.
- You can make mp3s available for download, or streaming only. JBOX uses Flash to deliver the audio, which is definitely the most widely compatible format - moreso than Windows Media or Quicktime.
- Highly customalizable. You choose the colors so that it blends nicely with the rest of your webpage or website. You can even design your own JBOX background image using Photoshop or whatever. If you make it look killer, we'll add your scheme to our built-in choices (and give you major props for your contribution).
- Want to know when people STOP listening to a particular track? JBOX remembers everything that listeners do, so that you'll know exactly what lyrics are viewed, which tracks are played and HOW MUCH of them are heard, etc. It's pretty extensive tracking, and the data is available to you if you create your own JBOX.
- Possibly the most powerful and unique thing about JBOX is that it integrates with Nerl.Net mailing list tools. Great for bands - you can build up your audience by making SOME tracks available to everyone, while other mp3s are locked until they join your mailing list. If people want to hear more tunes but don't want to buy your whole album, then perhaps adding themselves to your mailing list is a fair price!?
- No bandwidth choke-ups like on MySpace. I mean, MySpace is cool, but the audio player is kinda whack sometimes when the site is too busy, y'know?
- You don't have to upload your audio files into the JBOX player - it loads mp3s from anywhere which is perfect for people who already have their tracks online. If you don't, then pick from one of the many free file hosting options that are already out there on the internet. We recommend filelodge.com and archive.org. Host your audio files somewhere, then hook up your JBOX!
